About Me

Thank you for your interest. I have been doing project-based interior design for over ten years. Prior to that, I worked for 15 years in the financial services industry focusing on project and program management.

My passion has always been creating living spaces that are elegant and comfortable. The combination of design skills along with the project management and budgeting discipline from business, provides me the ability to create projects that are predictable and meet a schedule.

I started in the design business providing decorating services for home sellers and realtors. While a nicely staged home increases value, I found more fulfillment in working with clients who would live with our project work into the future.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Good design stems from listening to the desires of the client, facilitating a process to make decisions and developing a plan and budget. Too often I hear stories of people who don’t know what the costs and schedules are for projects. I incorporate project management skills I have mastered over the years into every project, so there are no surprises.

PERSONAL

I grew up in Kansas City, MO and went to college at the University of Texas in Austin.  I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1999 to manage technical projects for Charles Schwab unil 2006.  I was then accepted into the Interior Design & Interior Architecture Certification Program at UC Berkeley and have been practicing interior design for the last 10 years. I live in Burlingame with my husband Mike, and our son, Drew, 9 and daughter, Katie, 8.
